This is a new school for KASIN and they expressly requested a visit. The school is quite remote and there are 10 teachers and 200 children. The children are aged 3-14 years. The Headmaster’s name is Dal Bahadur Thapa.
Four teachers attended Harihar’s training and were very bright and very enthusiastic and had found it extremely worthwhile.
The school has toilets and a well-resourced library provided by the government and donations. There are two old and two new buildings provided by the community and government donations. The old classrooms are cracked and need replacing.
There are two computers but one is broken and no computer suite. There is electricity from a central line which is hydro powered and there are also solar panels.
