Shree Ganga Jamuna Primary School has 72 children aged 3 to 8 years. There is a new school building partly funded by the community and partly funded by KASIN. When we visited, the floors had not been completed and the children were being taught in classrooms with very rough stone floors which will be the base for the finished surface and were quite difficult to walk on. They are hoping to have a new classroom for the Nursery Class.
2014 report by Trustee Liz Wherity
The floors have now been completed and there is new furniture in the classrooms. The school continues to be quite progressive and all the teachers in turn have been to Harihar’s training which they have found most useful and have certainly incorporated into their teaching.
Sarita felt they could do with some more new furniture, although we felt they were doing very well as they were, compared to other schools.
