Coming Soon…Peak Poetry a book to commemorate KASIN’s 20^th anniversary. A collection of poems by famous Nepali and UK poets, together with poetry from Gurkhas and school children. Thank you to the wonderful artist Lucia Sellars who kindly donated her artwork for the front cover.

Our Health promotion officer Mamata has organised 3 days of training for teachers in charge of delivering health Education in 3 Wards of Gangajamuna Municipality.

We’ve just opened 2 more After School clubs in two vey remote communities, one at Saraswati and the other at Annapurna Basic School

We’ve just had requests for 2 more After School Clubs.

Today the trustees travelled to Liverpool to meet Professor Padam Simkhada who has recently been appointed as Associate Dean for the Faculty of Education, Health and Community at Liverpool John Moores University. The first ever Nepali Professor to be appointed in the UK, it’s an amazing coincidence that he comes from Tamang Kharka and was educated at one of the schools that we help to support. We are very much looking forward to working with him on our future projects.
