A joint venture with Italian Charity Friuli Mandi proving the boys hostel and Kasin, the girls. Great celebrations with everybody delighted with the outcome. The students that will stay here live in more marginalised communities and live too far away for them to attend the Secondary School or the Agriculture College in Phulkharka. Some have walked for several days from as far away as The Ruby Valley to be here. They are supervised in the hostel by male and female staff and grow much of their own food so they are as self sufficient as possible. The solar power and a biogas system was funded by the Rotary Clubs of Settle and Skipton in North Yorkshire.
